II. Revision
Check the homework. Then revise the dialogue in Le on 57. Ask the students to act out the dialogue. Study the new words in this le on.
III. Leading in
Ask the students this question: There is a famous animal doctor in England. He wrote many books about animals, what’s his name? Let the students read the text and a wer the question.
IV. Reading
Ask the students to listen to the tape and a wer the question: Which animal did Herriot like best? Then go through the questio of Exercise 1 in the workbook. Make sure they can understand them. Ask them to read the story more carefully and discu the a wers to Exercise I in the workbook in pai . Check the a wers with the whole cla . Deal with any grammatical or lexical problems that arise.

V. Reeling aloud
